KARATE CLUB A new session has just begun for our Karate Club at Port Weller. The program runs for 12 weeks and takes place on Wednesdays at lunch. On Oct 12, members were honoured with their very first belt. Each student has received a white belt which means innocence. Mr. Paterson has taught us that we have all begun our journey new and innocent and gain knowledge as students move up with the different belt colours. Before Christmas students received their very first black stripe signifying their growth. We are so proud of the following students for earning their black stripe: Liam, Ella, Jonathan, Cyrus, Allan, Madeline, Tessa, Joseph, Seth H, Hanna, Koby, Seth J, Aidan, Kendra, Ian, Noah, Nathan, Aiden, Gaelan, Dalton, Jackson, Emily, Michaela, Nicholas, Owen, Sonya, Brooke, Carter, Carson and Logan. Congratulations Port Weller Pirates and thank you Mr. Paterson! |
